What we can do
There are a number of things we can do to help. For example, if you like,
your local Youth Pathways worker can:
- talk to someone at your school on your behalf (for example, a
teacher, coordinator or counselor)
- arrange tutoring or some help with school work
- get you access to a computer for school work
- keep in touch with you via SMS, email, or phone
- help you to find out about courses and help you access them
- help you to liaise with Centrelink
- help you to get access to a professional counsellor, where available
- help your parents to understand your situation (only with your
permission)
- help you if you are experiencing mental health issues, and get you
professional support where available.
